Achieve Together
All the staff at Samuel Barlow hope you and your family
have a lovely half term break, and we look forward to seeing the
children back in school on Monday 23rd February.
2015/2016 SCHOOL YEAR
VALENTINES DISCO
After the summer holidays, the children will
return to school on Monday 7th September.
This is due to the governors agreeing that
the staff can have 3 INSET days during the
week before. This change of date will mean
that all children will have returned from
their holidays and be ready to start school
on the first day of term.
Thank you to everyone who came along
to the Valentines disco. We raised over
£230, which will be put in the bank and
saved towards our playground fund
AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS
MATHEMATICS COURSE FOR PARENTS
As we have had to cancel our after school
clubs on a number of occasions this half term
due to the recent bad weather, we will now
run the same clubs for the same children until
the end of term in April. We will start new
clubs for the summer term.
We are currently running a FREE math’s course
for parents and carers on Wednesday mornings,
9:15 to 11:15am to help and support their child’s
learning. The course involves functional skills
with a qualification at the end.
If you are interested please let the school
office know.
Thank you.
