The proposal will broaden the department’s portfolio
following the closure of Initial Teaching Training
The course will provide a progression route for Education

(SHA contract)
Anticipated annual recruitment 100 students for 2 years
followed by 50 per trimester for 2 years
The Faculty has successfully bid for the development and
provision of a top up diploma for East of England Ambulance
Service NHS Trust funded by the Health Education East of
England, the contract is worth £6.1m over 4 years
100% new modules
Significant capital spend required for the provision of staffing
(1 x WTE and 5 x 0.4 WTE) and teaching/laboratory space
