On Friday 26th September, children in the Junior School were invited to come into
school dressed in the colours of a European Flag of their choice. The children then
spent time learning about their year groups chosen country. Activities included
learning a different language, food tasting, finding out about famous landmarks and
learning new songs. The children then enjoyed sharing their knowledge with the rest
of the school and took part enthusiastically in a quiz.

Macmillan Cancer
Charity Fundraiser
On Friday 26th September, the Junior school joined the Senior School in their efforts to raise money
for the Macmillan Cancer Charity, by donating cakes for our whole school cake sale. Everyone
enjoyed taking part and certainly loved sampling a wide variety of cakes!! The children in the Junior
School also collected as many pennies as possible to cover a giant cake in the Junior School library.
The total raised will be added to the money raised by the cake sale.
Thank you all for your kind
donations of cakes and
pennies. Money is still being
collected.
We will inform you in due
course of the amount of
money raised by the whole
school.
