Specialist teachers from the Senior school who teach Year 5 and 6 pupils will be available in the Junior School Hall for general consultations on Tuesday 7th October between 4.15pm and 6.30pm only. The children then spent time learning about their year groups chosen country. Activities included learning a different language, food tasting, finding out about famous landmarks and learning new songs. The children then enjoyed sharing their knowledge with the rest of the school and took part enthusiastically in a quiz. . Macmillan Cancer Charity Fundraiser On Friday 26th September, the Junior school joined the Senior School in their efforts to raise money for the Macmillan Cancer Charity, by donating cakes for our whole school cake sale. Everyone enjoyed taking part and certainly loved sampling a wide variety of cakes!! The children in the Junior School also collected as many pennies as possible to cover a giant cake in the Junior School library. The total raised will be added to the money raised by the cake sale. Thank you all for your kind donations of cakes and pennies. Money is still being collected. We will inform you in due course of the amount of money raised by the whole school.
