Join us on 9-12 July for a weekend of diving in the beautiful 1000 Islands region.
The clear waters of the St. Lawrence River in the Thousand Islands region are known for their many wellpreserved shipwrecks, some dating back to the late 1700s. This is world class, fresh water wreck diving!
The trip is open to intermediate level divers and above. Non-divers are welcome as well.
Accommodations: We will be staying at the Caigers 1000 Islands Resort on the
Canadian side of the river. This family run resort not only offers a convenient
location to the many shipwrecks of the Thousand Islands, but has amenities such as
a swimming pool, restaurant, and an upper deck bar with impressive river views.
Dive Operator: Thousand Islands
Pleasure Divers is the on-site dive
operation and the leading dive operator in
the region. With five boats, they offer
dives to the best of the regions’ shipwrecks.
Non-Diving Excursions: There is plenty to do in the region for
non-divers. The spectacular Boldt and Singer Castles are
nearby, and the resort offers fishing and scenic boat tours. The town of Brockville, Ontario is a quaint
town to browse and shop, and the 1000 Islands OLG Charity Casino is close by.
