Application to Translate Materials Thank you for your interest in translating a DNA publication. We always are grateful for those who help get these messages into new languages. Please note below the brief list of guiding principles we use for translation projects. If you would like to help with a translation project, please fill in this form and return it to Jessie Christensen: jchristensen@disciplenations.org. Thanks very much, and be assured you will hear from us as soon as possible. 1. The Disciple Nations Alliance, Inc. shall approve all offers to translate, publish and distribute DNA resources in a foreign language. This approval shall be documented as part of a written, signed agreement (supplementary to this application) between DNA and the foreign translator or publisher. 2. The Disciple Nations Alliance prefers to work with individuals, organizations or companies that can both translate and publish/distribute. 3. All translations must be done by a professional, qualified translator and must be double-checked for accuracy. 4. As a general rule, the Disciple Nations Alliance, Inc. does not financially compensate individuals, companies or organizations who desire to translate a DNA resource into a foreign language. 5. All foreign-language translations and published versions shall clearly list the original author(s) and prominently display the Creative-Commons Agreement Statement. How did you discover and get connected to the DNA? Who do you know that is affiliated with the DNA? What local church do you attend? Do you hold any position in the church? If so, what?
