Denim Day: Friday, October 17
On Friday, October 17, we are honoring everyone who has been affected by breast
cancer. Saint Leo University is joining Lee® Jeans and the
American Cancer Society in the movement to rise above breast
cancer by asking employees to donate $5 to wear their jeans (with
no rips or tears) on Friday, October 17.
Employees who donate will receive a pink ribbon pin as well as patches that can be
completed “In Memory of” or “In Honor of” a loved one affected by this disease that will
be displayed around the university throughout the month. Each building has a
designated coordinator to collect donations and distribute pins and patches.
