Workshop Presentation and Approach
The workshop will be moderated by Mr. Jacques Charaoui (METAC Public Financial Management Advisor),
and will consist of several presentations by Mr. Benoit Chevauchez (IMF Fiscal Affairs Department) and
Messrs. Richard Allen and David Webber (both IMF's Fiscal Affairs Department experts). Participants will be
invited to present achievements and experiences from their own country in the relevant areas. There will be an
opportunity for participants to exchange views and suggestions on needs and priorities for improving their
budget preparation processes, including how they might address common institutional constraints.
Target Audience
Directors and Deputy-Directors in charge of budget preparation.
Language
The workshop is conducted in English with simultaneous interpretation into Arabic.
