 There will be cross country practice today at noon.

Congratulations to the cross country team for some great finishes including Nick Abbatte 4th place in grade 6
boys. Jeffery Armstrong third place in the grade 7 boys and Tim Crawford 5th place in the grade 8 boys.
Altogether we had 12 top 20 finishers way to go boys.

 Beyond the Hurt will meet today in the Guidance office at 12:15.

There will be a short meeting for any students interested in playing Dungeons & Dragons this year, in the
cafeteria at 12:15, just after the bell.

 Senior Band rehearsal is this afternoon from 3:00 to 4:30 pm.

 The Tech room will be open today during the noon hour. Feel free to come in and use a computer to work on Tech
projects, complete other school work, or play games. If you have a Minecraft account, you can even connect to
the Tech room’s Minecraft server and play with others.

 Congratulations to the boys varsity soccer team on their 3-2 win over Sussex yesterday.
The boys played a
strong game as a team with Liam Starr scoring a goal and Stefan Johnson scoring twice. Stefan’s strong
performance earned him “man of the match’ honours. Congratulations to everyone for the win!

 There has been a great number of students coming to the office each day to use the phone to call home for
forgotten items, reminders of practices etc. Students should have on them at all times quarters for the pay
phone for these types of calls. The office phone is to be used for more serious calls home.


The Varsity Girls started their season off with a 4 – 0 Win over Sussex middle yesterday. Next game for the
girls is next Wednesday.
JV Boys Soccer tryouts are today from 3 – 4:30 on the Arthur Miller Upper field for both teams.
Could all girls who are planning on attending the JV Girls tryout today meeting the gym at break for a very
important meeting. You must be at this meeting if you want to try out.
