The aim of our shows is to have fun and enjoy the experience at GHF. Pre entries close – post marked Thursday before the event Pre-entries £6.00. On the day £8.00 Rosettes to all entrants, refreshments available and photographer on site throughout the day. Ring 1. Novice open to any combination that has not been place 1 st before Jan 2014 (After winning two classes at GHF shows, competitors will not be considered a novice at GHF shows, so will no longer deemed eligible for this class) (Class to be split between caterogies) Class 3. Youngstock (1, 2, and 3yr olds) Class 4. Rare and Foreign breeds (full and part bred, any age) Class 5. Young / Senior Handler (Class to be split between categories) Class 6. 1st Year Showing as a Partnership Class 7. Judges lunch breaks will be approx. 30 minutes and will be clearly announced at the time. Due to the good old fashioned English weather conditions we reserve the right to cancel any show up to 12 hrs. before the show we will post any such occurrences on the Good Hope Farm shows Facebook page we will also do our best to contact any pre-entries if anyone is concerned about the ground conditions or the weather please contact us the evening before. Should we suffer extreme weather conditions overnight as the show is held on grazing land we reserve the right to cancel on the day. Show Rules 1. Good Hope Farm have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid & prevent accidents occurring & must obey the instructions of the owners/agents whether written or verbal. 2. Good Hope Farm shall not be liable for any claim in respect of damage, loss, injury or accident to any person, horse or property howsoever caused. It shall be deemed a condition of entry that each entrant has read and understood these terms and conditions and shall indemnify Good Hope Farm or any person acting on their behalf against any legal action arising from such an incident. 3. No refunds will be given once classes are entered. Only exception to this is cancellation of show 4. Judges decision is final. 5. Hard hats to current BS EN 1384, PAS 015 or ASTM F1163 must be worn & correctly secured whilst mounted. 6. All children MUST wear a hard hat with harness if competing in hand 7. All stallions must be kept under control at all times & not handled by anyone under 14 years. Colts and stallions must display a yellow tail ribbon and colts and stallions over 2 years must be bitted. 8. Lorries must not be mucked out onto car park. 9. No bicycles or motorcycles, except disabled scooters, anywhere on site. 10. All dogs must be kept on leads and all dog mess cleaned up. For safety please keep dogs to lorry park only and not near rings. 11. No ball games permitted at any time. 12. No fires or barbeques at any time on the premises. 13. All children under the age of 16 years must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. 14. All rubbish/litter to be removed from site or placed in bins provided 15. Classes may be limited to 10 per class. 16. No horse/pony under the age of 4 years to be ridden on the showground. 17. In the event of a rider travelling to the show on their own, details of a contact person should be left with the secretary in case of an accident. 18 Photographs taken by the official photographer and/or organisers can and will be used for promoting Good Hope Farm and the photographer for publicity, promotional and on website and multimedia applications 19. All classes may be ridden in any suitable bridle with the exception of lead rein ponies who must be ridden in a snaffle bridle with the lead rein attached to the noseband 20. Any person who fails to comply with these terms and conditions will be liable to forfeit their fees and expulsion from the grounds. 21. Good Hope Farm reserves the right to amend any show rules as and when the need arises. By entering a class or attending the show you are giving your consent to these rules! Please Note: - This is a working farm and the owners horses are on site NO ENTRY TO RESTRICTED AREAS, anyone found in restricted areas will be asked to leave the showground.
