payable to SVPC. Please include this release for each ponyclubber and be
sure they all have medical armbands, including managers and advisors.

Neither the Ayer-Fatone families, Shetucket Valley Pony Club, USPC or
any member of the organization shall be held responsible for accident or
injury to any horse, rider, spectator or property.

Teams may be mixed D & C. If entries permit, we may pin D teams and
mixed teams separately. Written Test, Formal Inspection and Horse Management will be
judged at the HM rating level of competitors.
Course Info:
D1’s will ride the Grasshopper/PreElementary Course with 2011 USDF Intro B Dressage, X-C
& Stadium not to exceed 12” logs & rails. An escort may be requested for XC. Time limit but no
optimum time penalty.
D2’s will ride the Elementary course with 2010 Beg. Novice Test A, X-C & Stadium: up to 2’
Time limit but no optimum time penalty.
D3’s will ride the Beg. Novice course with 2010 Beg. Novice Test B, X-C: up to 2’7” Stadium:
up to 2’6”, Water walkthrough. Timed.
C’s may choose the BN or Novice course. Timed. Novice will ride 2010 Novice Test B, X-C: up
to 2’11” Approx: 2500m, 350mm, Stadium: up to 2’11” Water & ditch. Long course.
Jumping Heights: Please note that Ds are REQUIRED to jump higher at this rally than is
required of them to meet/qualify for their rating level. DCs need to insure that all Ds are
comfortable at this additional height requirement before approving their entry for the rally. NoteD1’s and D2’s are in enclosed field area and D1’s are encouraged to request an escort with no
penalty if they are beginning XC jumpers.
Dressage in small sand arena. Stadium in enclosed grass arena with slight terrain.
COACHES: Coaches walk the stadium and cross country courses with the competitors, coach
them in the designated warm-up area, and may debrief immediately after rides (5 min. limit).
Coaches may also coach for the dressage warmup. No coaching DURING the riding phases. No
XC debriefing until the vet check is complete.
Dogs: MUST be kept on a leash.
Food: NO Vendor. There are Subway/ Pizza/ Chinese/ Dunkin options 10 minutes away. Water
available to all.
