Plans for our 2014 Homecoming are underway and we don’t
want you to miss a thing….this years theme is
“Happiest Homecoming on Earth”
Monday, October 6th
Pyramid Races during Homeroom Float building begins 3:30 pm – 9:30 pm
Tuesday, October 7th
Tug of War during Homeroom Float building 3:30 pm – 9:30 pm
Wednesday, October 8th
Introduction of Court and voting for Homecoming King and Queen 2:45 pm
Float building 3:30 pm – 7:30 pm
Homecoming Court – Coronation Practice 6:30 pm
Powder Puff Game 8:00 pm
Thursday, October 9th
Coronation of Homecoming King and Queen 1:50 pm
Float Building 3:30 pm – 7:30 pm
Pep Assembly in Wilcox Gymnasium 8:00 pm – Bon Fire to follow
Friday, October 10th – No School
Parade 5:00 pm
Tailgating and Pregame show at 6:00 pm Football game 7:00 pm
Saturday, October 11th Breakfast with the Queen 8:30 am to 10:00 am
Homecoming Dance in the Wilcox Gymnasium 8:00 pm – 11:00 pm
Coronation at dance 9:30 pm
You will be dancing the night away to the sounds of D & J Entertainment and this
year will feature Party On Rentals photo booth where you can take home as many
photos as you want absolutely FREE! Messick Photography will also be here to
take those memorable photos for Disney’s Homecoming 2014…..
We will be giving away prizes daily for those who work on their class float. Each
evening that you attend and work on your float for at least an hour your sponsor will
provide names of those who participated and every afternoon during homeroom we
will draw for prizes. Your name stays in the contest each day so be sure to attend
every night for more chances to win daily…..gas cards, restaurant certificates,
movies, sweatshirts and lots more…..On the last evening during the pep assembly all
of the names from the entire week will be placed in the drawing and one lucky
person will win a 32” HD TV !!
Don’t forget our traveling trophy for the winner of our float….will the senior class
retain the honor or will they have to pass it on…..Good Luck to all of the classes!!!
October 11th The Student Council will be hosting “Breakfast with the Queen” and
her royal court for ages Kindergarten through 4th grade. Please print the registration
form and return by October 3rd.
