Fletcher Graduate Scholarship Application
The North Carolina Recreation & Parks Scholarship Foundation offers scholarships to graduate
students in the field of public parks and recreation. Graduate students who meet the criteria as stated
below are eligible for applying for the Fletcher Graduate Scholarship. The Foundation will accept
applications for the upcoming academic year from students who meet the following requirements:
1. Applicant must be a current graduate student in Leisure Systems Studies at a college or
university in the state of North Carolina
2. Applicant must have completed at least one (1) semester of graduate study and at time of
application, must be currently enrolled in a graduate curriculum
3. Applicant must be a current NCRPA member
4. Provide two (2) academic references. Must be submitted with application.
Application Deadline: MARCH 11, 2013
Completed application submitted electronically by March 11
Support Materials: 2 reference letters emailed to info@ncrpa.net by March 11
Applicants will be notified of status by May 31st. Scholarship recipients will be recognized at the
NCRPA Annual Conference.
