Dear participant Developing Musculoskeletal Services in Tameside and Glossop The commissioners across Tameside and Glossop Health and Care Community have come together to address the health and social care challenges faced by local people. They have created a programme of work to redesign and realign health and care services to provide joined up care to Tameside and Glossop citizens. You are invited to attend the MSK pathway mapping events on 6th and 16th June. These events are part of a project to support NHS T&G CCG and their partner organisations in reviewing the MSK services commissioned in Tameside and Glossop and developing an outline business case for our future services. The first event will assist us in describing the “As Is” MSK pathways. This is to be held on Friday 6th June 2014 in the The Newton Suite, Hyde Town Hall, Hyde from 13.15 pm until 16.45 pm. To agree the scope of the MSK services review To review the work that has already been undertaken To achieve a shared understanding of the current pathway for patients with MSK conditions To identify and prioritise the key issues to be addressed within the review scope To identify issues which overlap with other Care Together work streams To agree the next steps for the review A programme for the event on the 6th June 2014 is attached. There will be a second event on Monday 16th June 2014 from 13.00 pm until 16.45 pm to map out a new pathway for MSK services.
