Anchor Conference Call November 16, 2012 AGENDA 1. General Anchor Communication AGENDA Thank you for all your hard work preparing and submitting Pass 1 You should be using the latest version of the RHP Planning Protocol with technical corrections from Oct. 1 to develop your projects. Technical corrections included things like ensuring all core project components were clearly indicated. Reminders about things you should have addressed in this Pass 1 submission that will be absolutely critical to the final plan submission o stick to the template, do not delete the RHP number or the page numbers from the footnote o organize projects in Section 5 (Category 1, 2, 3, and 4) by Category first, then within each category, organize by performing provider o be sure that all project IDs, outcome IDs etc. are completed (we cannot track and review projects if these are missing) Anchor Conference Call 2. Workbooks On Monday, Pass 2 and Pass 3 Workbooks for Performing Providers were updated to include a few missing project options – 1.2.5, 2.4.4, and 2.4.5. If providers have already started their Pass 2 workbooks and do not plan to use these project options, then they do not need to input their information in the updated version of Pass 2 workbooks. The Anchor workbook will accept either version of the Pass 2 and 3 workbooks. Performing Providers will need to update their Category 4 valuations in their Pass 2 Workbooks to ensure the Category distribution requirements are met. The amounts they enter will fully replace what was entered in their Pass 1 Workbooks. Note that within the Anchor Workbook, the DY 1 Table and DY 1 IGTs tab will need to be updated after each Pass or entered after all Passes have been completed. This is because the DY 1 DSRIP is recalculated after each Pass. 3. Plan Review Process RHP Plan Review HHSC has nearly completed review of the community needs assessments. There was substantial variation across RHPs. Some RHPs listed community needs that were very broad (e.g. need for primary care) or were missing adequate evidence/data sources of stated needs. During project review, HHSC may request additional information on community needs if the project narrative does not describe a clear need, particularly for high-value projects. Changes to Pass 1 projects We will be defining the process by which we give you project feedback ASAP and will communicate this to you by the anchor call in two weeks – Nov. 30 Note that any substantive changes you make to Pass 1 projects should be highlighted. You do not need to highlight grammatical corrections, spelling corrections, etc. Pass 1 workbooks on Cat. 1-3 cannot be changed. If there are changes to outcomes, providers should reference the identifier from the workbook in the project narrative and note in the project narrative what they are changing. 4. Timelines and Next Steps HHSC is beginning the initial review of Pass 1 based on today’s submissions In the timeline HHSC provided in the Companion Document, Pass 2 workbooks and narratives and Anchor Conference Call 1:30-3:00 p.m. AGENDA Access Code: 3702236 Call-in: 877-226-9790 For waiver questions, email waiver staff: TXHealthcareTransformation@hhsc.state.tx.us.
