Step 1: Select Prize for Winning Class

Step 2: Teacher Awareness (email)
Good Morning Teachers!
First let me send congratulations to all the classroom teachers who have reminded their students and parents
to register with School Cash Online.
As many of you are aware, we are reaching the final stretch with about six weeks left before the summer.
There are not many things that are available for parents to purchase between now and the end of the school
year, however, there will be lots of items and events in the fall. By having the parents register NOW we will
have the ability to communicate those things to them easily and electronically.
Internally, I would like to set a goal of getting as many parents registered with School Cash Online as possible.
For this reason I have decided to run an “Inter-School Competition” and GET THE STUDENTS INVOLVED in
helping with this important initiative.
For the class with the highest number of parents who register online – that class will receive [an afternoon fun
day and ice cream party, where they could play board games, watch movies in the classroom, etc.]
I believe this will keep the cost low for the school to promote this important initiative, yet entice the students to
work together to achieve this goal.
My intention is to start to raise a level of awareness with the students in a few days and to periodically be
announcing the classroom that is in the lead. I would really appreciate your encouragement to entice the
students to get involved with this and rally up the best in your students to participate.
In addition, if you have any upcoming sports events, field trips, or year-end activities where you would be
collecting money from parents, please ensure we know at the office so we can get this entered to the Parent
Site. I have attached an EVENT Template to assist you with this.
I will also be sending a notice out to parents regarding the competition and I will have it available in your
classrooms to distribute in a few days.
Depending on the homeroom that wins, I may need to collaborate with those afternoon teachers to coordinate
a day that works best for this event.

Step 3: Student Announcements INTRO
Good Morning!
As many of you know, YOUR Parents have the convenience of being able to pay ONLINE for events,
trips, hot lunches and school items at a website called “School Cash Online”.
Taking cash out of [YOUR SCHOOL NAME] is an IMPORTANT INITIATIVE for our school as it
saves many hours of time both in the classroom and in the main office.
For this reason I have decided to run a School Competition with the winning class receiving an
[Afternoon Fun Day of movies & board games etc.] That’s right NO reading, writing, studying or
homework on that day, just fun for you and your whole class.
So how does your class win??? Each of you are asked to remind your parents to go and register with
School Cash Online. Forms are being distributed by your teachers today. Please tell your parents it
only takes 5 minutes to register. You will have just over 2 weeks to get your parents to register along
with the rest of your classmates – the contest closes on [Monday ______ @ Midnight). On Tuesday
morning – I will review the registrations and the class that has the highest percentage of parents
registered will WIN the [AFTERNOON Fun Day].
Teacher please remind you class at every opportunity between now and [Monday _____].

1st Reminder (beginning of week 2)
First let me send congratulations to all the students who have been reminding their parents to register
with School Cash Online. It’s WORKING. We have had a significant number of parents complete
this 5 minute task.
Sooo the BIG question is which Class is in the LEAD??? Well...we currently have multiple
classroom running neck in neck. [Read out some STATS from your report]
Remember you and your classmates have until next Monday @ midnight to register and put your
class in the LEAD to win the [Afternoon Fun Day]
Any classrooms who require additional copies of the step-by-step PARENT instruction sheet (that
were distributed last week), please send someone down to the office.

Step 4: Parent Awareness (Email)
Dear Parents!
As you may know, for safety and efficiency reasons, we are now offering the convenience to Parents of paying
online. I wanted to take this opportunity to thank all of you that have already registered with School Cash
Online.
For those of you who haven’t, I need to make you aware that all of our teachers going forward will be posting
school related trips and items online. Once you register we will be able to inform you of upcoming events via
email, helping our school “Go Green”.
One of our goals is to get as many parents registered on the site as possible before the summer break. Please
take 5 minutes to assist us, by following the steps below.
