OUTSIDE SCHOLARSHIPS Seniors, if you have received any outside
scholarships, please get a copy of them to Mrs. Lawson in the attendance office. We
keep a running list to turn in to the paper at the end of the year and this is very
important for the counselors.
GOLF TOURNAMENT The Sapulpa Tennis Team is putting on a Golf Tournament on
Saturday, March 22, 2014 at the Sapulpa Golf Course. The 4 man scramble will begin at
8:00 a.m. and there will be plenty of opportunities to win prizes. Registration fees are
$75 per Adults and $50 per students, if you are interested see Mr. Kennedy in Room 605
or contacted him through his email at ckennedy@sapulpaps.org. So, everyone come out
on March 22 to play some golf and show your support for The Sapulpa Tennis Team.

JOSTEN'S Attention Seniors! Josten's will be here on Thursday, March 13th before
school and at lunch only. If you owe a balance, it must be paid at that time.
VEHICLE MOVING Attention all drivers: Once you park your vehicle after arrival for
school, you are NOT allowed to move it again unless it is driving to lunch or after school.
The ONLY exception would be going to an off campus sport such as Baseball or Golf or
attending classes at TCC. If you move your vehicle during school hours (such as from
the parking lots to Woodlawn so you can go to lunch faster) it WILL be considered a
Truancy.
ACT PREP CLASSES “ACT Prep Classes are starting up once again, Open to ALL
Sapulpa High Students. March 25th is Reading and English, Math is March 27th and April
1st, Science is April 1st. All classes are from 3:15 PM to 4:45 PM at the Woodlawn
Annex. Please sign up in room W204”
CENTRAL TECH INTERVIEWS - DRUMRIGHT Chet Cundiff, a recruiter from
Central Tech Drumright Campus, will be here on Wed. March 26th to interview
applicants.
STAY HELP NEEDED Any student interested in becoming a STAY-Students
Teaching Aids to Youth-peer educator, please see Ms. Woolery in the School Nurse office
as soon as possible.
ATHLETIC TRAINING Are you interested in athletics and medicine? Apply for the
Sapulpa Athletic Training program. You can pick up an application in the attendance
office. All applications are due on April 4th.
LAW ENFORCEMENT INTEREST Interested in Law Enforcement? Are you
looking to start a career in law enforcement after you graduate High School? If you
answered yes to any of these questions and you’re between the ages of 14 to 18 then
you qualify to be part of our Exploring Program. Don’t miss the opportunity to speak
with Deputy Latif Whitsett about the Exploring Program with the Tulsa County Sheriff’s

TULSA OILERS GAME THE MUSCOGEE CREEK NATION and Sapulpa Indian
Education would like to invite you to the Muscogee Nation Buy Out Game for the Tulsa
Ice Oilers this Sunday. Tickets are Free, first come first serve. Stop by the Indian
Education office in the Woodlawn Annex W204 and pick up your free pair of tickets to
this Sunday afternoon’s game courtesy of the Muscogee Creek Nation.
AFTER SCHOOL E2020 The E2020 after school lab will be closed Tuesday &
Thursday due to P/T Conferences
Chik-Fil-A Chik-Fil-A will be here on Thursday, March 13th next week since there is
no school on Friday.
A.P. TESTS Attention A.P. Students. Now is the time to register for the Advance
Placement exam. Enrollment fee per test is $25.00. You can enroll for your test in the
main office.
FIRE SERVICE AND NURSING SCHOLARSHIPS These two scholarships are
new this year! If you are interested in the Fire Service or a Nursing career - please come
see Mrs. Lawson in the attendance office.
BARTLETT SCHOLARSHIPS If you are applying for the Bartlett Scholarship and
need a counselor's signature - turn it in to Mrs. Lawson and she will obtain their
signatures.
BOYS STATE Boy State applications are now available in the attendance office. This
is an excellent leadership opportunity. Turn your application into Mrs. Bilby by March
14th.
TENNIS COURT PARKING Students will not be able to park in the tennis court
parking lot after lunch due to Basketball games at the Chieftain Center.
