ACT PREP CLASSES “Sign up for Sapulpa High ACT Prep Classes, Open to ALL
Sapulpa High students, only $20 per subject: English ACT Prep on November 5th and 7th;
Math ACT Prep on November 12th & 14th, Science ACT Prep on November 19th and 21st.
Spots filling up fast only 20 spots per subject. Sign up in the Indian Education Office,
Woodlawn Annex, Room W204. Students on Sapulpa High, Title VII roster will not be
charged, all regular students only $20 per subject.”
WINTER'S ON IT'S WAY!! If you or someone you know is in need of a winter coat,
please let Mrs. Yeager, Mrs. Bilby or Mrs. Stewart know ASAP.
SCIENCE CLUB Science club is hosting the blood drive for the Oklahoma Blood
Institute Wednesday November 6th from 8AM to 2PM. Sign up in the main lobby at lunch
time, or see Mr. Ostrander in room 617.
FRENCH EXCHANGE PROGRAM There will be an Information Meeting for parents
of students interested in the French Exchange program on Tuesday evening, November
5th, in Room 425 at 7:00. Any student interested in hosting a French student in April or
traveling to France next summer should try and attend. Go by Mrs. Pierson's room for
more information.
SEMI-FORMAL FALL DANCE Students our Semiformal Fall Dance (formally called
Snow Ball) is on Friday, November 22 from 8-10pm at the Chieftain Center. Advance
Tickets are $10 and will go on sale later this week at the HS Snack Bar. The theme this
year is “A Black Tie Affair” and dress is semiformal (no jeans). Ticket price will go up at
the door $15.00.
OU SOONER BUS TRIP Seniors - don't miss a great opportunity to visit the OU
campus on Thursday, November 7th. The bus trip to Norman will include transportation to
and from, Q&A's with a panel of current students, campus tours which will include the
housing, and lunch in their award-winning cafeteria and much more! Please sign up in
Room 706 with Ms. Oakley if you are interested.
CLARY SAGE REPRESENTATIVE Friday November 8, Clary Sage College, 8:30 AM
until 1030 AM. Please sign up in Room 706.
ACT DEADLINE Friday is the deadline to sign up for the December 14th ACT. Visit
www.actstudent.org to register. Don't forget if you are a junior or senior on free or
reduced lunch you get up to two free ACT's. See your counselor for more info.
DECEMBER ACT Friday is the deadline to sign up for the December ACT. Seniors, you
need to take this one to be eligible for the February scholarship deadline. Register at
www.actstudent.org.
TCC ENROLLMENT TCC is open for enrollment. See your counselor for a form.
SENIORS Seniors, start applying now to the college of your choice. For help, see your
counselor.
SENIOR GROUP PICTURE RETAKES Seniors: If you missed the Senior Picture,
retakes will be this Thursday morning, November 7th, in the gym at 7:30.
OU SOONER SATURDAY Seniors! OU’s Sooner Saturday is November 23rd. This is
an opportunity to tour the campus and experience what it’s like to be a Sooner. Visit
ou.edu for more information.
DODGE BALL Duck, Dive, Dip or Dodge. Dodge ball Time is here!! Get your team
together. The Sapulpa Gils basketball team will be hosting their annual Dodge ball
Tournament, December 5, 2013. See a Girls basketball player or look for a Dodge ball flyer
for more information.
JUNIOR CLASS OFFICERS Junior Class Officers: There is a mandatory meeting
Thursday at 7:30 in room 607.
ALL STATE CHOIR AUDITIONS Congratulations to the following choir students
who will be moving to the second round of All-State Choir auditions: Caleb Parnell, Cara
Oates, Carrigan Jobin, Casee Baldwin, D’Vlyn Rogers, Emry Mills, Hunter Smith, Lexi
Nooleen, Maddie Stewart, Natalie Wideman, Thomas Wickliffe, Trevor Elmore and Zach
Smith.
HOBY LEADERSHIP Sophomores, now's your chance to let your leadership skills
shine. The HOBY leadership conference applications are now in your counselor's office.
Applications are due November 22.
ENGINEERING SCHOLARSHIPS Seniors, the Tulsa Engineering Foundation is
offering three scholarships for $2,000 to students interested in pursuing an engineering
degree. See your counselor for an application.
