Autism Solutions Family Services for Families in Need IU 13 is pleased to announce our new services for children and adults on the Autism Spectrum and their families. Currently, the Supervisor of Autism Solutions, Dr. Carolyn Bruey, can provide psychological services to children and adults on the Autism Spectrum and their families, including diagnostic evaluations, individual and family therapy, and behavioral consultation. In the future, we plan to expand our service model to become a multidisciplinary “clinic” providing after-school private speech and occupational therapies, as well as behavioral support by a Behavior Specialist. All services provided by the Autism Solutions team will focus on developing effective strategies for improving the child’s success in the home as well as in the community. How does Autism Solutions Work? The incidence of Autism Spectrum Disorders continues to increase, resulting in an escalating need for services for children and adults on the Autism Spectrum as well as their families. Autism Solutions provides an individualized approach, tailored to each family’s needs. After an initial intake consultation with Dr. Bruey, a personalized treatment plan will be created incorporating other Autism Solutions team members as warranted. Given that early identification and intervention can be crucial in terms of future prognosis, one of our highest priorities will be to provide diagnostic evaluations for 18-36 month old toddlers suspected of being on the autism spectrum. However, children and adults of all ages who are on the Autism Spectrum can be referred for services. What Services Does Autism Solutions Offer?
