MCV Campus SGA General Body Meeting – Agenda
February 19, 2014
~Welcome
~Guest Speaker
1. Elliot Roth: TEDxVCU
 TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to
share an experience. At a TEDx event, video and live speakers combine to spark
deep discussion and connection in a community.
 TEDxVCU will host an MCV open mic night in the Larrick Student Center
Courtend Ballroom on March 28. Each speaker will be allowed two minutes to
pitch what their TEDxVCU talk would be, keeping in mind the theme of
“Simplicity.” Speakers will be judged based on adherence to the theme, charisma,
novelty of the idea, and the interdisciplinary aspects of their talk. Approximately
four speakers will be chosen to speak at a TEDxVCU event. Students must
