4. Use “Advanced Search”
5. Be sure to select “All job Listings” on the Advanced Search menu to get a complete list of all
opportunities. You can do another refined search if you get too many opportunities to sort

6. You can control other variables like location and type of jobs(select “internships” and “parttime/seasonal”)
7. When searching, minimize the number of options. Doing a geographic search for the type of job

DECORAH INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY FOR 2015-16 ACADEMIC YEAR
Northeast Iowa Montessori (NEIM) is seeking a Marketing & Fundraising Intern who will be responsible
for assisting members of the Board of Directors in designing, creating, delivering, and maintaining
promotional concepts and materials as well as in event coordination for annual fundraising events.
This intern will be given significant responsibility and autonomy in this position and will receive regular
mentoring and performance feedback from the NEIM Board Members associated with each individual
project. She or he will gain practical, transferable experience in marketing planning, promotional
material design and production for web, social media, and print, and event coordination for large-scale
fundraisers.
NEIM, with its decade-long history in Decorah, is a nurturing environment that cultivates each the
intellectual and creative potential of each child who attends while instilling a sense of individual and
global responsibility. We directly follow the philosophy, principles and methods of Dr. Maria Montessori.
Job Responsibilities
• Work with the Board of Directors members to manage existing marketing materials and create and
manage new marketing materials
• Research and brainstorm new methods online and offline of reaching potential students’ families and
potential philanthropic donors.
• Assist in maintaining and modifying the NEIM website and social media outlets.
• Contribute significantly to coordinating events such as the 5 Plates Fundraiser—this entails liaising
with the venue, chefs, entertainment, etc.; assisting with ticketing; assisting with all aspects of a silent
auction; etc.

HSNEI is an animal rescue organization that cares for over 300 animals per year. We are
looking for interns who would like to gain experience in digital communications across multiple channels
