‘Zero contracts’ are contracts of employment which do not set the number of hours that the
employee will work. Instead, the contract means you must be ready to work when you are asked.
We are asking you to fill in this survey so we can collect your views on whether these contracts
are a good idea, and what impact they have. We will use the information to help us understand
the impact of these contracts, and to help government to understand too.
