Instructions for Connecting Microphone + WallMounted Speakers
Instruction Laptop
1) Take microphone headset + splitter from bottom drawer of laptop cabinet
in Circ.
2) Plug splitter into laptop (left side, near projector connection).
3) Plug mic input (pink end) into one end of splitter, labeled MIC. (This is a
snug fit.)
4) Plug VGA projector cord into laptop (the normal connection).
5) Plug speaker input from VGA projector cord into other end of splitter,
labeled HEADPHONES.
You should be able to hear sound through speakers and speak into the
microphone.
If there is no sound coming through speakers, check that the Master audio switch
(rocker switch) in the black wall cabinet is turned on. The cabinet has a separate
key in the key cabinet, labeled Projector Cabinet Front.
Plug speaker input from
VGA cord into splitter,
labeled HEADPHONES.
Plug this end into laptop.
Plug this end of mic into
splitter, labeled MIC.
