POSTGRADUATE REGISTRATION 2016 | FACULTY OF HEALTH SCIENCES Online Registration Online registration – 4 January to 28 February 2016 If any issues prevent you from registering, e.g. outstanding fees, library material outstanding or academic exclusion, please contact a Student Consultant in the HW Snyman North Building, Prinshof Campus before 18 December 2015. You will only be able to pay your registration fee and register online in 2016 once all blocks have been lifted. Alternatively log in to UP Portal <My TUKS Login> (top of main page). Look for <Student Centre> and go to <Help>. If you do not have Internet access, report to any of the student assisted Prinshof IT laboratories during office hours during the first week of January for assistance with your online registration. Proof of Registration can be printed from the Student Centre portlet in the UP Student Portal after completion of registration. MCur students will be assisted with their online registration on 26 and 27 January 2016 in the Green Computer Lab, Prinshof Campus. General Information To determine the degree code and module code/s for which you wish to register, please visit www.up.ac.za/yearbooks or access the departmental brochure at the specific department, e.g. School of Health Systems and Public Health. If your study was interrupted for longer than a year, you must apply for re-admission before 16 January 2016. If your studies have been suspended on account of exceeding the maximum study period /not sufficient progress, approval to reregister must obtained from the Dean. The required form is available on UP Portal. Please ensure that your registration is completed between January and end February 2016. Research students may register until end of March 2016. You are only considered to be a registered student once proof of registration has been issued. Payment of the initial amount or tuition fee does not constitute registration. Registration of all first year SHSPH students will take place during the first module in January 2016. We strongly recommend that you finalise payment online before commencement of the first module to avoid the long queues at the Faculty's Student Administration. Sponsored students must provide a formal letter – stamped and certified – from their sponsor. These students are still responsible to pay the registration fee and claim from their sponsors afterwards. No registration allowed without payment received. Also bear in mind that, although sponsored, you remain responsible for your account.
