Dear Parents and Guardians,
December 5, 2014
December is here and we have had our first
snowfall!!! Please make sure your child is
dressed for the weather. This is a busy month
full of activities so please read this newsletter
carefully as it contains important information
for the month.
Our new water fountain and water bottle filling
station has been installed in the main hall. The
second one will be installed in the upper
hallway next week. All students have been
given a water bottle with their name written on
them. Thank you to Ridley Terminals, The Port
of Prince Rupert and the Prince Rupert
Community Foundation for making this project
possible. Students are very excited to have their
bottles and tell us that the water is “way
better”! I am not sure how this is possible, but
we are happy as water is great for all of us.
Report Cards – The first term report cards are
being sent home today Friday, December 5,
2014.
PAC – Thank you for organizing the Subway
lunch last week, the staff and students always
enjoy this special lunch.
PARENTS – PLEASE SLOW DOWN WHEN
DROPPING OFF AND PICKING UP YOUR
CHILDREN. ALSO, PLEASE AVOID PARKING IN
THE FIRST ROW CLOSEST TO THE NEW
PLAYGROUND AS CHILDREN ARE CONSTANTLY
RUNNING TO VEHICLES IN THE SECOND AND

BACK UP! ALSO PLEASE REMIND YOUR
CHILD/CHILDREN TO USE THE CROSSWALKS
WHEN WALKING TO AND FROM SCHOOL.
THANK YOU!
Badminton – It was great to see our Badminton
team playing in the tournament this past
weekend. Thank you to Ms. Kenmuir, Mr.
McDowell and Madame Savard.

we have laid out all the lost and found clothing,
shoes, mitts and misc items. Please ask your
child/children to take a look if anything belongs
to them.
