TAE Buffer
10 X TAE Electrophoresis Buffer



24.2 g of Tris base [tris(hydroxymethyl)aminomethane]
5.7 mL glacial acetic acid (17.4 M)
1.85 g EDTA, disodium salt
Dissolve the Tris, glacial acetic acid and EDTA in 400 mL of deionized water and mix. Add
deonized water to raise the final volume to 500 mL.
Label bottle and store at room temperature.
