Based on a true story Survival Walking into the creepy, gloomy, chilly room of the massive horrifying castle I found the kitchen. Looking around I saw nothing but plain walls. Hearing a noise I turned around. Suddenly there was a girl in front of me! She had hair as black as the night, and pale bony skin. Her eyes? Well they were black holes with blood dripping from them! Quick as a flash I ran upstairs into the bedroom and locked the door. After a while had passed nothing more had happened so I thought it was a dream, but the door handles started shaking. Shaking like somebody was trying to get in! Perhaps it was that strange, disturbing girl that was downstairs. I didn’t want to find out. I feel like a zombie, as if I am not alive. The door shakes again, harder this time. BANG…THUD… I curl up in the corner of the room. I shiver. I am so scared. I feel as small as a mouse. The smell of danger and fear fill the air. Out of nowhere a knife burnt through the door. It was covered in blood! AHHHHHH HELP ME! The knife slashed and cut through the wood like a razor. Something warm was dripping on my arm. I looked down and saw the bright blood, but where was it coming from? My mind was racing. It’s her isn’t it? Slowly, I looked up from where I was standing. Nobody was there. Nothing! Frighteningly, I turned back to the door where I saw a piece of paper that contained writing. I cautiously read the note… You won’t escape, you won’t die easily, and I’m waiting to make my move. Say goodbye to the world, goodbye to your life! I dare you to look away, to not fight. Just give up. It doesn’t matter what you do, I will get you! I drop the note and stand up. I put my back to the damp, cold wall so that I could see every place she could possibly be. Thoughts fly through my head, will I survive? Will I defeat her? Why is this happening to me? A whisper reaches me… “Say hello little sister! I will kill you! You got too much attention from mum and dad! “Wh…what?!” I scream. “Yes that’s right, now let’s get along.” Someone walks into the room, but it is not the girl I saw earlier. It’s Rosie. Rosie? She runs to me and hugs me. “Oh I did miss you little sister, mum and dad left me here to die. You can’t trust them! You can’t trust anyone!” “Oh Rosie!” I put my arms around her. “Let’s get your face all cleaned up, it looks very red.” We walk to the creepy, eerie bathroom. Rosie looks in the mirror to check her face, but I don’t see Rosie. I see her. The girl! Quickly, I turn to her. The black hair and bleeding eyes stand before me. “Hahaha. You were tricked” she cackled. I turned and ran. I ran as fast as I could. Sprinting into the living room I hide behind the large velvet sofa. Feeling horrified, worried and curious I poked my head around the sofa. I saw her walk past the living room. I ducked down hoping that she didn’t see me. I stood up carefully, looking around to make sure she wasn’t there. I decided to make a run for it. Dashing to the front door, I bang it as I try to open it, but it’s locked! I bash and thump against the door. She must have heard me as she appeared behind me. I saw a black key hanging around her neck. “No escape. No getting away” she screeched. She came closer and closer, looking at me showing me the knife. I begin to sob quietly, but I had an idea. Thinking quickly I turn the knife around and stab her. I grabbed the dark metal key pulling it from her gruesome neck and opened the huge oak door. Running away frantically I turn around to glance back at the house. She was standing in the window. “You’re lucky” she screamed and then disappeared. I ran, not looking back again. I still hear noises at home…like she is watching me, waiting…will she come after me again? TAP, TAP, TAP. The door knocked angrily, followed by a whisper through the key hole. “I’m back…”
