After reviewing the two proposals that you submitted for our consideration, our Board and General Membership recently voted to donate a portion of this bequest to Southwestern College to support these proposals: The first donation is to the LNT Dept in the amount of $6,750. The CRFG-SD Board hopes that this money can be used to hire student interns to assist with propagation. The second donation is to the South Bay Botanical Garden in the amount of $1,750. The SRFG-SD Board hopes that this money can be used to enhance the existing subtropical fruit garden. We understand that the OH Department will need to hire an intern. The CRFG-SD Board also hopes that the garden designers will include CRFG in the plant selection process.
