We currently have a position for a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor in our Norwich
Vocational Department.
Position Description:
The Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor will be responsible for conducting interview
preparedness training, situational assessments and job placement services to clients
referred for these specialized programs. The Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor will be
responsible for successful outcomes in respect to successful job matches, job retention,
and case management according to CARF standards. Excellent writing skills required as
well as the ability to develop business relationships with employers.
Qualifications:
Candidates must be able to offer a combination of education and experience that
supports their ability to meet the expectations of the position. Must be a licensed driver
with well maintained personal vehicle. Candidates must also have an interest and ability
to work with individuals with disabilities.
