Agenda items discussed: 1. Reinstating courses: Look at revised procedure for reinstating courses for next week 2. Look at minutes from retreat for approval next week 3. Education Proposal General Discussion a. Gulliford commented that a masters program is order for the campus in order to remain competitive with other state institutions. b. Gadbois made a motion to approve all courses so the committee could proceed to look at each course for specific approval. Motion was seconded. c. There was a question related to if courses are cross-listed with 400 or 500 level classes. Those are offered for undergraduate level courses. Burkhart stated that these 600+ level courses are restricted to graduate students. d. Additional library resources have been analyzed by teacher education with the library staff and extra resources are included in the MA proposal budget. e. Question of if 600 level courses are prerequisites to 700 level? Some of this would be listed in program sequence description. 4. How will master’s level courses be approached with fees? This is a separate continuing education course for teachers in the area All courses approved except ED620 5. There was a request to add Leadership to option proposed.
