Anabela Sobrinho
Bio: Born in Lisboa, Portugal, migrated to Australia in 1985 and retired in 2009 from Language Teaching
and related jobs.
Her art expresses spiritual symbols, dreams, holistic lifestyle, natural health and environment. Her family
and relatives are often depicted, as they have taught her so much of what she is today. She uses acrylics and
mixed media on medium scale paper and canvas. Her most prolific artistic times were in the late 80’s and
then in the 90’s. She restarted in 2011 and currently she is greatly enjoying studying Fine Arts, doing
Drawing & Painting.
