We are pleased to issue a joint invitation to Shoreline School District staff to apply for grants enhancing the educational opportunities for Shoreline School District students. The Shoreline-Lake Forest Park Arts Council and Shoreline Public Schools Foundation are coordinating their grants programs as follows in order to serve Shoreline staff better and more efficiently: The application process opens the week of September 15, 2014. Application forms are available online at www.shorelinearts.net and www.shorelinefoundation.org. Please use only the current 2014-2015 application form. Read and follow each organization’s Granting Guidelines regarding grant goals and eligibility. All applications must be computer-generated or typed using no smaller than 10-point type. (Note: If you submit a hand-written proposal, it will be rejected.) Applications must be signed by a principal or administrator, and by the artist when applicable. Applications must be received (via mail or hand delivered) by each organization by 4:00 p.m., Thursday, November 13, 2014. You must provide signed copies of your application to EACH organization from which you request funds – 10 signed copies to the Foundation and 4 signed copies to the Arts Council. Notification of awards will be confirmed by the third week of December 2014. Select grant recipients may be contacted to provide project displays by March 13, 2015 for the Shoreline Public Schools Foundation’s Spring Event-Luncheon on March 26, 2015. Selected grant recipients receiving Arts Council funding will be asked to submit digital photos of the project within two weeks of completion.
