Inspection Results Summary:
Very little activity on site.
Old landfill area. Restoration has not been completed for area ESS/45/09/UTT, but
store of topsoils has been moved to allow levels to brought up to approved levels
Work has progressed to complete GCN relocation ponds in far north east of site and
the area fenced.
Sand and gravel processing plant not in operation.
Green waste area operational, although would appear material that has completed
maturation is not being removed from the composting area.
No aftercare has taken place in areas subject to aftercare and has become infested
with weeds, requires topping and spraying and brought into beneficial agricultural
use to ensure completion of aftercare period. Areas out of aftercare are now not in
agricultural use, as now not owned by Mr Kemp at Crumps Farm.
Clay extraction was not taking place during the visit.
Footpath No 8 has been diverted, by post and wire fence. Clarified with Nick by
phone after meeting that the diversion had not been certified so technically the old
route should not be obstructed yet.
