Welcome to Session 444 – Interrelationship of Feline Behavior and
Lower Urinary Tract Disease
Dr. Buffington serves as professor of veterinary clinical sciences
at The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. In
addition to his DVM degree, he earned B.S., M.S., and Ph.D.
degrees in nutrition from The University of California, Davis. His
clinical interests include stress effects on disease, obesity,
evidence-based medicine, and effective medical communications.
His research focuses on the roles of early life events and the
environment on health and disease in cats and people.
