Welcome to Session 664 – Pre-Breeding Evaluations: Helping the
Breeders Breed Better Dogs
Saralyn graduated from The Ohio State University in 1989 with a
B.S. in zoology. After a couple years in the work force, she
earned an A.Sc. in veterinary technology from Columbus State
Community College. Upon graduation, she worked in emergency
medicine at OSU and later in community practice, working with
cats, dogs and exotics. In 1999, she took a community practice
position at Purdue University Veterinary Hospital, where she has
been teaching veterinary and veterinary technician students for
the last 15 year. Saralyn is a founding member of the Academy of
Veterinary Technicians in Clinical Practice.
