General Advice: Take off all contaminated clothing immediately.
Skin Contact: Wash off immediately with plenty of water. Consult a physician in event of permanent
irritation.
Dermal contact: In case of skin contact, flush with copious amounts of water for at least 15 minutes.
Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. If irritation persists or other symptoms are
observed, seek medical attention.
Eye contact: With eye lid held open, thoroughly flush with copious amounts of water for at least 10
minutes while protecting unharmed eye if only one eye is affected.
To assure adequate flushing, separate eyelids with fingers. Call a physician. If possible
bring affected person for immediate further treatment to an ophthalmic hospital or
ophthalmologist. Continue rinsing eye or eyes until arrival at ophthalmic hospital or
ophthalmologist.

6: ACCIDENTAL RELEASE INFORMATION:
Procedures of personal precautions: Use personal protective equipment.
Methods for cleaning up: Soak up with absorbent material (E.G. sand, silica gel, acid binder, universal
binder, saw dust). Pick up, and place in a marked sealable container and hold for waste disposal in
compliance with existing federal, provincial, state and local regulations. Ventilate area and wash spill site
after material pick up is complete.
Environmental Precautions: Obey relevant local, state, provincial and federal laws and regulations. Do
not contaminate any lakes, streams, rivers or other water bodies or groundwater or soils. Do not allow
entrance in soil, stretches of water or drainage systems.
7: STORAGE AND HANDLING INFORMATION:
Shelf Life:
When stored under recommended conditions the product will be viable for 1 year after
the drum is opened. It is recommended to use a Drierite System or similar device if you
cannot purge with Nitrogen every time you open the drum.
Handling:
Safe handling advice during application or processing is to provide good ventilation or
extraction.
Advice on protection against fire and explosion. Keep away from sources of ignition.
Positively no smoking.
Storage:
Suitable: Keep container tightly closed. Store in a cool, dry, well ventilated place. Handle
and store under nitrogen. Protect from all forms of moisture. Residual vapors might
explode on ignition. Do not apply heat, cut, drill or weld on or near this container for any
reason at any time.
Special requirements: Moisture sensitive. Handle and store under inert gas.
8: PERSONAL PROTECTION & EXPOSURE CONTROLS:
Engineering controls: Safety shower and eye bath. Provide good ventilation and extraction.
Personal protective equipment:
Respiratory: In case of dust/vapors/aerosols being formed or if the limit values like TLV are exceeded then
use respiratory equipment with suitable filter or wear a self contained respiratory apparatus.
Government approved respirator that meets OSHA 1910.134 and ANSI Z88.2 or applicable federal or
provincial or state requirements must be followed when ever workplace conditions warrant respirator
use. NIOSH’s “Respirator Decision Logic” may be useful in determining the suitability of various types of
respirators.
Use respirators and components tested and approved under appropriate government standards such as
NIOSH (US) or CEN (EU). Where risk assessment shows air-purifying respirators are appropriate use a full
face respirator with multi-purpose combination (US) or type ABEK (EN 14387) respirator cartridges as a
backup to engineering controls. If respirator is the sole means of protection, use full face supplied air
respirator.

Hand:
Compatible chemical-resistant gloves.
Glove material: Butyl rubber or equivalent
Material Thickness: 0.5 mm
Break Through Time: = 480 minutes
Glove material: Fluorinated rubber (Viton) or equivalent
Material Thickness: 0.4 mm
Break Through Time: = 480 minutes
Selection of protective gloves to meet the requirements of specific workplaces.
Suitability for specific workplaces should be clarified with protective glove manufacturers.
The information is based on reference from the literature. Remember that the useful time of day of a
chemical protection glove may be much shorter than the permeation time determined according to EN
374 due to the many different influential factors involve (e.g. temperature).
Eye:
Close fitting chemical safety goggles.
Skin & Body protection: A safety shower and eye wash fountain should be readily available. TO identify
additional Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements, it is recommended that a hazard
assessment in accordance with OSHA PPE standard (29CFR1910.132) be conducted before using this
product.
General hygiene measures: Wash contaminated clothing before reuse. Discard contaminated shoes. Wash
thoroughly after handling. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Do not inhale gases/vapors/aerosols. Do not
eat, drink or smoke while handling.
