Recruiting Trends 2013-2014 1. Welcome to the National College Recruiting Survey for 2013-2014 On behalf of the Consortium for Student Transition Studies (CSTS), a group of over 200 college and university career services centers, and Michigan State University's Collegiate Employment Research Institute (CERI), we extend our deepest appreciation for your time and effort in helping with our college hiring profile for 2013-2014 graduates. We are seeking input from: large corporations and mid-size companies fast growth and start-up companies non-profit organizations government agencies, and education providers. Whether your hiring goals include graduates from two year community and technical colleges, bachelor's graduates, advanced degreed graduates (PhD., MBA and professional degrees), or experienced talent, your insights are important. If you are involved in seeking talent for internships or co-ops, you will find a special set of questions on the outlook for internship/co-op recruiting. If your hiring plans are uncertain at this time or if you know now that you will not be hiring over the next 12 months, your information is still critical for framing the labor market conditions for students, academic faculty and advisors, and human resource managers. We invite you to take about 20 to 25 minutes to complete this survey. The information gained through this survey will be used by individual colleges or groups of institutions to assist you in achieving your talent acquisition goals for this academic year. CERI will prepare a national report (Recruiting Trends 2013-2014) which will be sent to you shortly after the report's release on November 22. If you would like to preview the survey (PDF version) or would prefer a paper company (Word) these versions can be downloaded from the CERI website at www.ceri.msu.edu. CERI follows all MSU's required research protocols for this project. Your information will be treated with strict confidence. Only aggregated data will be publicly reported and your confidentiality will be protected to the maximum extent allowed by law. If you have any concerns or questions about this research study, such as scientific issues, how to do any part of it, or if you believe you have been harmed because of the research, please contact the principal investigator, Dr. Phil Gardner: 517-355-2211 or gardnerp@msu.edu or Collegiate Employment Research Institute, 113 Student Services Building, Michigan State University, East Lansing, MI 48824. Again please accept our deepest appreciation for taking your time and extending your effort to help with this important project. Recruiting Trends 2013-2014 2. Organizational Profile.
