RULES & CONSTITUTION
1. The name of the Club shall be Mountbellew-Moylough Game Preservation
Society.
2. The aims and objectives of the Club are to preserve the traditional rights of game
hunters, the preservation of wildlife and restocking of game.
3. Membership of the Club is open to anyone resident in the Club area. Person’s
resident outside the area may apply for membership of the Club and may be
admitted at the discretion of the executive committee or Governing Body.
4. The Procedure for Application for Membership shall be as follows:
On request of wishing to apply to join the Club, an application form shall be
made available to the applicant for completion. On receipt of the fully
completed application form and proof of proficiency, the applicant will be
considered for membership. A decision on the application shall be made at the
AGM only.
Membership of the Club shall expire on the 31st July each year. Membership shall be
renewed only after the Compensation Fund Form has been returned, stamped from the
Co. Secretary for the coming season.
6. Members must pay the appropriate fees as determined by the
Governing Body at the Annual General Meeting.
7. The Club shall be affiliated to the County Regional Game Council. All Club
members shall be associated members of the National Association of Regional
Game councils.
8. Members are expected to exercise courtesy and politeness when hunting on Club
lands.
9. The Governing Body may expel any member for serious breach of the Rules or
for serious misconduct likely to bring the Club into disrepute. Any member
expelled shall have the right of appeal.
10. Other than expenses which may be decided from time to time, no member may
derive or stand to derive financial gain from membership of the Club. In
particular, it is strictly forbidden to sell or offer for sale any game shot on Club
lands.
11. If requested, three appointed members of the Club may do an audit of Club
accounts after the AGM.
12. Nobody gains membership to the Club unless they have insurance with the Club.
13. Under no circumstances can any member of the Club bring in a shooter to the
Club area to shoot fur or feather who is not a member of the Club.
14. Levy of €100 for all new members.
15. Probationary period of 1 year which may under certain circumstances be extended at
the governing bodies discretion.
16. Each member must attend a minimum of 2 club meetings in the Year. Exceptions and
future club membership is at the governing bodies discretion.

NOTES:
1. A MAP OF THE Club's shooting lands is available to each member.
2. The rules of the Club shall be circulated to each member. Rules may only be ratified
or changed at the AGM.
