RE: YOUTH JAM 2012 – Malaysia’s Largest Youth Festival
This year, we will be organizing an even bigger YOUTH JAM! We will be having YOUTH JAM in
three (3) other states in Malaysia. Your participation will ensure the impact in Penang, Perak and
Kuala Lumpur.
We have the experience in doing this as we have successfully obtained up to 500,000 views on
our website and reaching out to about 50,000 youths in Penang itself. We are excited to roll
YOUTH JAM 2012 to 3 or more other states in Malaysia! With your support, we will jam Malaysia
come September 2012.
This year, YOUTH JAM is not just a 2 days gig. It will be a 6 months program where we are going
to reach out to other under privileged youths and empower them with knowledge and abilities.
We want to ignite the passion and enthusiasm in young Malaysians to come together on one
platform. We want to look for youth leaders that will run programs that benefit the community
around them and there will be a competition in it.
We hope that Dato could consider sponsoring the marketing materials for this event to be
distributed around Malaysia.

YOUTH JAM
YOUTH JAM is making its comeback this year with a bang! This annual event is created
by youths for youths in hopes of educating, motivating and inspiring them with the
experience that they gain from it. YOUTH JAM 2012 will be launched in April and this
year, not only will YOUTH JAM be in collaboration with youths from all over Penang but
we are spreading the YOUTH JAM fever across Kuala Lumpur and Perak.
The concept of YOUTH JAM is to merge different projects (e.g. competitions,
conferences, seminars, etc.) together into one large event. These projects consist of
mainly four different educational divisions – entrepreneurship, IT, sports and creative
arts. There will be 50 youth projects in total this year and the youths behind the best
project will be awarded.
YOUTH JAM 2012 Penang will be held on the 7th of July 2012 while YOUTH JAM 2012
Ipoh will be held on 14th of July 2012 and YOUTH JAM 2012 Kuala Lumpur will be held
on 16th of September 2012. All three of the YOUTH JAMS will begin at 10am-11pm.
With that being said, YOUTH JAM 2012’s main objectives are to bridge the gaps
between urban and rural youths and to ignite the passion for entrepreneurship, IT and
creative arts among youths today so that a K-Generation Youth Group can be created.
