AVIATION GROUND HANDLING AWARDED ALLIANCE AIRLINES GROUND
HANDLING SERVICES CONTRACT IN BRISBANE
Aviation Ground Handling (AVGH) is pleased to announce the company has been awarded the Ground Handling
contract to provide services to Alliance Airlines at Brisbane Airport.
AVGH took over operations 11 July 2014, providing a full range of ground support services to Alliance Airlines on
their F50, F70 and F100 aircraft servicing their fly-in/fly-out (FIFO) charter flights from Brisbane.
AVGH Chief Operating Officer, Craig Shaw said the contract is a welcome addition to the services already provided at
other airports.
“We are very pleased to be awarded the Alliance Airlines Ground Handling Services contract in Brisbane. Through
this new agreement, we have been able to employ 12 staff and continue to strengthen our partnership with the
airline,” said Mr Shaw.
Aviation Ground Handling is a leading aircraft ground handling company operating in Australia with local operations
at Gold Coast, Townsville, Rockhampton, Mackay, Sunshine Coast, Miles and now Brisbane airports.
Aviation Ground Handling directly employs over 200 staff based across the AVGH Group. Securing this contract has
created new employment opportunities at Brisbane Airport and a new location for the AVGH Group.
Aviation Ground Handling is a Queensland Airports Limited (QAL) company.
