Create a unit plan where your students explore a topic in depth. Identify an overarching question or idea that students can explore. Identify 10-15 learning objects that students might use to explore the topic (Hot link each resource and perhaps tell a bit about each one. Include a nice variety. Think differentiated learning.) Consider putting students in groups and making this a cooperative learning experience. At some point in the unit have students create a Concept Map. And, require them to create a newsletter or brochure to demonstrate their learning. If you wish to also include other technology apps in the unit, go ahead! Be creative.
