This class is ideal both for artists with limited printmaking experience,and advanced printmakers eager to learn alternative and more direct means of committing their creativeideas and impulses to print. The workshop will provide instruction of how to harness mono-printing's fluidity,whie exploring its ablity to simulate aesthetic qualities characteristic of o il/watercolor paint ngs and drawings.Here. you will investigate the unique, conceptualand aesthetic possb i ilities of your visual imaginations. and draw inspiration from the campus's breathtaking surroundings during wa k-abouts.Through classroom demonstrations and one·on-one instruction, learn an array of mono-printing techniques-inc uding those of reductive print ng, color printing,collage and masking,viscosity printing, layering and multiple·plate color printing­ and employ these methods to magically transform your ownimages into a cohesive suite of portfolio prints.
