8:00 – 8:20 Math Meeting
*Students come in and get ready (turn in homework, notes, sharpen pencils and
work on math meeting.)
After announcements bring students back to the carpet to go over the math
meeting. Then take a restroom break.
8:20 –9:50 Language Arts (Spelling/Reading)

Focus Skill: Sequence
Focus Strategy: Read Ahead
Grammar: Subject and Object Pronouns
Other concepts: pronouns, decoding phonics, root words
Spelling: Lesson #17 – words with prefix un- or dis*Each focus lesson should last around 10-15 minutes
*Each Daily 5 Rotation should last 15-20 minutes
Daily 5 work stays in the daily 5 folder until it is completed. Then students may turn
these in to the proper folders.
