The priorities in your area and what we’re doing about them Priority: Reducing anti-social behaviour Following feedback from residents, we are still receiving reports of young children playing ball games around parked vehicles and on the road. We are very concerned for their safety and would urge all parents to ensure they know where their children are playing, and that they are playing in a safe and appropriate environment. We will also be writing to all parents warning them to take responsibility and action regarding this serious issue. We will liaise with Network Stadium to request they also communicate with their residents about this. We are pleased to report a significant reduction of unwanted visitors coming into our blocks, following our close partnership working with the local Safer Neighbourhoods Team, who carried out patrols of the estate. Since October 2013 no reports have been received regarding this issue. We will continue to work with the Residents Association, the Safer Neighbourhoods Team and Network Stadium to deter and tackle any anti-social behaviour (ASB) issues occurring on the estate. Please help us by ensuring you report to the Police and East Thames any incidents of crime and ASB, whether you are a witness or victim. Priority: Active Community Centre We are pleased to announce that the furniture re-use shop ‘Reclaim at the Lane’ will be open from the 3rd June located within the Cranberry Lane Community Centre.
