You are to find and research an organism that has been discovered in the
past ten years. You will need to use reliable websites and make a list of all of
the websites you use. Remember, google and bing helped you find the
information, those are not where you got the information.
The information can be presented in your choice of formats: Video, song, tshirt, 3-D model/diorama, mobile, or movie trailer.
You will need to discuss the following in your project:
1. Name the Kingdom, Phylum, genus, and species the organism
belongs to.
2. Name any other organisms that share the same genus
3. Biome where the organism is found.
4. Describe the habitat where the organism is found and provide a
map showing the exact location.
5. Physical characteristics-describe and have images of the organism.
6. Unique features/adaptations
7. Diet/food chain-provide information about how the organism
obtains food and include a possible food chain.
8. Predators, competition, and/or symbiotic relationships
9. Would you want this as a pet? Explain why or why not.
10. Is the species endangered or are there conservation efforts in
place?
