regression and adjusted for the individual glomerular filtration rates. All data are presented as
geometric means with 95% confidence intervals. CLsec, secretory clearance. In individuals
homozygous for the g.-66 T>C wildtype, metformin secretory clearance was significantly increased
for the individuals either heterozygous or homozygous for the c.808 (G>T) variant * P=0.017and **
P=0.003. In individuals heterozygous for the c.808 (G>T) variant, metformin secretory clearance
was significantly reduced for the individuals heterozygous and homozygous for the g.-66 T>C
variant. ■ P= 0.022. P= 0.008.
