About the Company
Mgolole Agro-processing Company Ltd is an agribusiness company registered in Tanzania for
the purpose of farming and food processing. The company owns a number of medium sized
farms in the Mgolole area of Morogoro municipality including Mgolole Mixed Farm (farm No:
2002). The company also owns the 1,080 ha Kidago Farm No. 4 located in Kikundi village,
Morogoro Rural district, Morogoro, Tanzania. The company’s current business focus
1. Both dairy cattle and beef production
2. Crop and forage production
Position: Farm manager
An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly competent Farm Manager to join a
dedicated farm team to provide Farm Management services to the company’s integrated crop and
livestock enterprises
Starting period:
Mgolole Agro-processing Company Ltd is ideally looking for someone to start in July 2015 for
the above mentioned position. The role is a full time position.
Location: Morogoro, Tanzania
Experience Required:
Proven experience in similar position (five years minimum) in managing larger scale modern
commercial farms in Africa. Experience in East and Southern Africa will be an added advantage.
The person should be enthusiastic with excellent modern large farm management skills, strategic
planning and preparation business plans, mechanization and irrigation and be able to build strong
trusting relationships with staff and to articulate clear annual farm management and production
programs.
The successful candidate will have:







Minimum Bachelor Degree in Agriculture or Agribusiness
Entrepreneurial spirit that can drive and grow revenues
A Passion for farming
Hands on farm experience on a farm of similar size and complexity
Ability to operate farm equipment
Proven project management capabilities
Strong communication skills


A driver’s license
Must be self-motivated, results oriented and can work under minimum supervision but
must have ability to supervise others.
