The strategy of the development of National Accreditation
Agency for the period till 2020
The globalization of markets, the development and application of advanced
information and educational technologies, the emergence of a system of
professional standards, the development of professional, public and international
accreditation as well as cross-border education market, determine the need of the
development of new mechanisms for quality assurance and evaluation of
education, have higher requirements to the expert community. Globalization leads
to a new quality of international cooperation, including in the field of quality
assurance.
Hence, the strategy of the development of National Accreditation Agency
for the period till 2020 provides the solution of 4 global challenges:
1. Elaboration of procedures for the evaluation of education quality;
2. Ensuring of state functions of control and supervision in the sphere of
education;

among the rectors and Vice-rectors of state HEIs and highranking employees.
Sample visits by representatives of National Accreditation
Agency to educational organization in the working period of
the expert group with the purpose of fixation of the presence
of experts, conditions of their work, and questioning the
management of the audited HEI.
The comparison of expert reports on supervision in the sphere
of education quality and expert reports in the sphere of
accreditation for HEIs, held the two control procedures within 6
months.
