We understand that seniors need their quiet time and privacy. Thus taking the seniors away from the younger age groups doing activities they are interested in; this could be sitting out on the grass with pillows gossiping about the school day or playing our PCYC SAC children's Ipads. They participated in a variety of workshops and listened and learned about how real life authors and illustrators wrote books. We had a wonderful day and learnt lots. Some of the comments from the students are included below. The day was young. I am getting shoved and pushed on the bus but I can handle it. Everybody is talking to the person next to them, but me, I’m just trying to fit a nap in on the ride. As we merge into one file, we get off the bus. Then it’s off to the Civic Centre to see Andy Griffiths and Terry Denton. Rana Thank you Shouts, claps, echo through the room.
