A complete NOI will include one NOI Form Part A, and one or more NOI Form Part(s) B (i.e., one Part B for each scientific area of focus). Each eligible institution can only submit one NOI. The Secretariat may approach the reviewers to enquire about their willingness to provide a review in the context of the first CFREF competition. The Secretariat would only divulge generic information related to the research thematic area. The Secretariat will not divulge the name of the institution, or any other detail contained in this Notice of Intent (NOI) application. Reviewers cannot: be a faculty member at a Canadian institution (excluding adjunct professors); be affiliated with the applicant institution (including hospitals and research institutes) or with an organization receiving financial support from that institution; have held a position at the institution applying to the program in the last five years; be involved in the proposed program of research; be a potential recruit for this Scientific Strategy; or be in a position to directly benefit from the outcome. Reviewers should be able to evaluate the full application (Part A and the relevant Part B), once submitted, in the language in which it is written.
