Listening vs. Hearing (Holzer)
Bring a rhythm instrument to class if you have one, such as a small hand drum, or an
empty canister with a lid that can be used as a hand drum. Or you may consider
bringing “kitchen percussion” such as wooden spoons and/or a plastic bucket. I will
bring my djembe. See Learning Module > Music – Prof. Holzer > 1 for PDF of my
PowerPoint. You may want to print it off and bring it with to guide your note-taking.
